No narrative will ever capture the beauty and grandeur that emanates from a LLS composition or track. His creative vibe is/was set to a frequency outside of mortal comprehension. His music sounded as if it was meant to be enjoyed by celestial beings from another universe. His music is/was so transcendental, so soul and mind inclusive and it sounds as beautiful today as it did in the 70's and 80's when it first played. There is a line from "Monks Dream" that goes." I dreamed I had fame and a life sublime, I dreamed I made prints of the sands of time. Smack dab in the spotlight, bathed in it's beam, Man, that was my dream" I think that line sums up LLS's life and music perfectly.

I can't believe this song on;y has around 4,000 views, its a superb album. Song for the children is a superb track from this album, such great vocals. I saw Lonnie a few years ago at the Forum in Kentish Town with Roy Ayers, it was amazing performance (either 2014 or 2015)
