I just wanted to say that I have a newfound respect and appreciation for Bailey after watching a few other true crime YTers recently. They're not exactly the most engaging storyteller and one of them kept on looking at/reading from her script. Bailey makes it look so easy to remember all the facts and keep things interesting for a full 30 minutes to an hour. That's hard! Thanks Bailey for doing what you do!

I live in Kansas City, and my dad actually worked with Bob Berdella at the fancy country club you mentioned. They were both chefs there. Dad gave him rides to or from work sometimes. Dad said the entire time he worked with Bob, he never came across as a "bad" guy. He did say he was kind of quiet and a little... "odd," although he never has specified what he thought was odd about him. Just quiet and a little weird.

Does anyone else feel special when she says "I wouldn't be here without you point blank period" or is that just me? It always just makes me feel special wanted and loved. I swear Bailey is the sweetest person ever and she has a golden heart she even feels bad for these bad people even though she doesn't agree with what they had done and wishes they got the help they needed. Its hard to find compassion in people like this but I commend her for it and she has always stayed true and tells these stories so well. I could listen to her all day.

KC Native Here- I'm always surprised that more podcasts haven't covered this case! You did a great job gal! This is a wild story! I run an event venue and we recently had a Canadian production company film a documentary about this case and used our space to interview individuals associated with the case. I may have learned a thing or two I hadn't known while listening!
Also - I was the Event Coordinator at the country club you mentioned and as haunted as the whole club is (look up how many people were struck by lightening on THIS golf course!), the creepiest thing was when I was given the keys to what used to be his office, and found a filing cabinet that still had grocery orders and invoices with his notes and signatures on...eek.
