I still play Webkinz to this day, and it’s taking all my willpower to not go crazy infodumping everything about this game. But I kinda wanna do it anyways SOOOOO, I haven’t watched the whole video yet - I’m only about halfway - but I’m already giggling at how you were looking for Quizzy’s and entered the Kinzville Academy instead. As for Webkinz being educational, yes! It was originally advertised as an educational virtual world, with Quizzy’s being the most advertised feature. So that answers your question! Also, “we should see Dr. Quack” is a statement that made me very sad, considering he was removed from the game altogether unfortunately! Lore-wise, he cured all illness and retired. That was when they were making the Webkinz X update, where they changed a bunch of stuff (so the game is running on multiple different code bases jumbled together). So stuff like talking to your pet, inviting friends to your room, stuff like that is all gone too. The Webkinz X update isn’t very well liked among the Webkinz community, and I’m one of those people who absolutely hate it. It also brought a ton of bugs and glitches, the game will often freeze up and you’ll just have to suck it up and reload, sometimes you’ll go to Daily Activities and nothing will work, but it’ll take away that activity for you anyways (so pray you don’t get that glitch when Wheel of the Month comes around) and more stuff like that.
