Hey, Brian, just wanted to let you know that your honest review had a part in me opting for the P3 Cobalt Racer with Revo 12.4, which I've ordered and am expecting in a couple of days. I had a P2 some 6 years ago and I feel it was one of the best hitting cues I've ever had, so I have high hopes for this P3. Keep up the good work!

Nice review Brian, thanks for sharing your thoughts. As someone who has been thinking about buying the 'P3' it has been helpful to hear some feedback from an experienced pool player who knows what he is talking about and who has put the product through its paces. I think you have helped me decide which cue I am going to purchase when I upgrade my equipment over the next few months.
I've noticed that Predator 'Ikon' cues are more expensive than their 'P3' range, but the only real difference (so I'm led to believe) is that the 'P3' is your no nonsense, pure performance cue, whereas the 'Ikon' is basically just a 'blinged up' version of the 'P3'. I have been looking at upgrading my existing mid price range cue to a 'forever cue' and have narrowed down my choice to either a Predator 'P3' or 'Ikon'. I initially had my eyes set on an 'Ikon', but after doing a bit of research and reading/watching various reviews of the two cues, there is little difference between them other than the 'bling' and the not insignificant $300-$500 price difference! 😬. Personally, I am not someone who is overly fussed about bling or fancy wooden inlays, and I am certainly not willing to pay that kinda money for something which is essentially the same as a cue which costs $300-$500 less!. I have been saving up for 8 months, and if I go with the 'P3' I will have the cue and be playing with it before Christmas, whereas, if I hold out for the 'Ikon', I wouldn't have it in my hands until around late February/early March 2023, so all things considered the 'P3' definitely looks like the cue for me! 🙂🎱🎱🎱.

Thought that was the p3 you were using, funny story, I had a 50.00 cue that I really liked, it was all black( probably metal shaft)any way after 40 or so years of shooting pool I thought I’m gonna treat myself( I’m 74) , I searched the internet, looked at Lucaszi, to fancy, wanted that all black look, found the P3, liked the idea of all the technology involved, ordered one, got the ( revo) 11.? Shaft, I was really impressed with the way it was packaged, they sent it in its own black cloth sleeve, it feels alive in my hand, my favorite cue!!!it is elegant, the silver tiger on the but is beautiful, I also found you on the internet, love the way you go over things, calm voice, it shoots better on the 9’ tables, by the way. Several of the guys have asked about the cue. Have a question, did you keep the “tiger” tip?

I bought a P3 4 or 5 months ago and I'm very glad I did. Switching to a CF shaft (Revo) was a bit of a change, but it just feels great when you make contact with the cue ball.
