I remember listening to the pointer sisters with my mom when I was four or five, just after she and my dad divorced and she was crying all the time. Then this song would come on and she’d smile and take my hands and we’d get on the bed and dance. Some songs really are the soundtracks of your life. Thanks for bringing back a great memory.

This brings back so many memories from having my first CDs when I was six or seven. I can't remember the name of the collection, but it has this, the Ghostbusters song, Gloria, and a load of other upbeat songs from the previous few decades. I haven't heard this song since I got my first MP3 player in middle school because my CDs were all played to death and scratched.
