For real though, when it comes to Zendaya in particular, some people tend to overlook that actors kissing on screen is just acting and doesn't carry personal meaning. Itās done in a professional setting with a lot of other people in the room. Itās not romantic. The focus on her relationship with Tom and peopleās fascination with it might contribute to this oversight and while her relationship with Tom is not exactly a secret itās super private so some media outlets try to dig out anything on their relationship to capture a viral moment. Some journalists are even weirder than fans like no need to make her or her co-stars feel uncomfortable and ask cringy questions. I love how it was brought up here.

THANK YOU for giving her the opportunity to address this! When the trailer first dropped so many viral tweets were made about her personal life that it was actually shocking. It's one thing for the public to mock or judge her but it's just wrong when journalists try to feed into it. You can clearly see it makes her and her costars uncomfortable.

Yeah Zendaya getting all those stupid questions about kissing has 100% to do with Tom Holland. If she was with somebody that's unknown, it wouldn't be a big deal.
For example, Emma Stone did a hell of alot more than kiss in Poor Things. I didn't see people say how she could do that to her husband or be weird in interviews.
