In Pyro it would be interesting to find one of these on a hostile planet where they've removed most of the industrial components from the underground area and replaced it all with the shanty town buildings they have, creating an underground village as a landing zone. It would make a great little trading and shopping area or mission hub. It would also be interesting if these facilities transitioned into large natural cave networks that may contain strange alien creatures that need to be hunted down and eliminated.
I don't know about an org officially owning one of these facilities, but I could definitely see some Jumptown like events where orgs could try and take and hold one for a while, and I really liked your idea of being able to own or rent a part of the facility.

I could see a "Siege of Orison" being held down there,an hijacked weapon/ammo facility or a Bio Waste hazard one where you have to defuse bombs before contaminating the whole planet or some secret prototype weapon/ship/vehicle schematics who needs to be retrieved, lots of scenarios and gameplays to be made here, excellent video, have a good one.đ˝

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the production quality of Morphologis' videos? Widescreen compatible. Always great music, sound mixing is always on point, awesome transitions between scenes, and finally the videos are always packed with information that is relevant. Thanks for making great videos!

I 100% agree, Morph. I was blown away by the CitizenCon presentation, and I'm glad it clicked into place for you. What's more, you're absolutely right about what it means to be able to hide their sins below the surface of a planet. That hadn't even occurred to me... and now that you mention it, they're planning similar shenanigans with the city undergrounds.
This, the building interiors, and the colonies are all going to be huge and valuable additions to the immersion of the universe, and the potential for gameplay. We've been saying "procedural tools" for so long... and I'm beyond excited to see them getting used.

it would be so cool if they made manufacturing plants owned by companies in the game like behring or anvil - iâm imagining criminal missions where you and a group of friends break in and steal crateloads of weapons straight off the assembly line (and maybe some unique âprototypesâ or hard to find items too!). especially when complete physicalization tech is finished it would be a lot of fun to stockpile a bunch of loot on a big ship and use it like a black market to sell to players or NPCs. if CIG ever decides to implement the insurance system they could even add shipyards that could be raided and a gameplay loop around flying stolen ships to chop shops and reselling them once theyâre clean or something like that. this is definitely really out there for an idea but imagine stealing an arrow straight off the assembly line, flying it to a friendâs hideout and giving it a fresh coat of paint and âswapping its platesâ and then putting insurance on it so you have a brand new ship at your disposal

Having a safe space to spawn a ROC and mine with it in underground tunnels sounds like it'd be incredible. You'd be able to avoid getting attacked by hostile players in ships and just dump your haul at the terminal right after you park it. I imagine there'd be some kind of fee to use the facility, but a lot of folks would say it's worth it to guarantee that you won't be attacked while mining.

I love the idea of a mining facility that would actually allow you to use the ROC ground miner. The whole, miner is supposed to be used in caves idea doesn't work... unless they mean caves made in mining facilities. Being able to make your own ammunition and perhaps modules and then sell it back onto the market you can begin to create the game economy. Of course, that will be further into the future. For now, being able to control facilities the same way you can control jumptown would allow for quite a bit of interesting gameplay. Imagine hearing that your air cover has been taking out and on your way back to the surface you run into a tumbler.

Your videos are always so damn consistently good, I'm so excited for these UGFs! As an architect do you feel like there may be too much similarity to the feeling of these UGFs? Will they feel distinct from one another in a way that that the current bunkers do not? Even if they have a different layout, that is :)
