Every week, IGN invites the creators of the biggest and best video games to watch -- often in horror -- as the world's top players break their creations and finish their games at record speed. This is Devs React to Speedruns.

It takes most players between 12 and 35 hours to beat Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Watch as Eidos Montreal's Jason Dozois (Narrative Lead) and Matthew Thomas Labelle (Lead Dev QA) give their hilarious thoughts on what they think of speedrunner blancw's incredible run through their game.

Alternatively: Tomb Raider Devs roast their own game for 48 minutes straight.

Itā€™s funny how the Devā€™s point out things that we wouldā€™ve thought like ā€œ that shipping container is right on timeā€ or ā€œthereā€™s always a couple birds waiting for you to traverse a ledgeā€ itā€™s great to see that they can laugh at their work

These devs actually know what's going on in the speedrun. This is amazing.

Most fascinating thing to be is that I completed this game twice and never ran into a single bug or glitch.

Best dev reaction ever. Half of these videos consist of devs justifying glitches and bugs while beating themselves up. But these guys are just having fun.

"Walking towards a dig site that she didn't hear about to find an artifact that we're not sure she knows what it is" yeah that sums up how sequence breaking fits into the narrative.

"Is there no music there?" Pounding on a window underwater seems a lot more impactful without music.
