As a former religious person, this really resonates with me. It even came on my birthday lol. That silence before I sleep which I used to fill with my prayers; this is what I was feeling. I looked up whether the band is atheist and of course, there is a lot of hatred against this song because an atheist is singing about God. However, I really like this song because I felt isolated being an atheist who misses the comfort of faith--I only ever hear atheists against or apathetic to faith--but this lets me feel my feelings and think perhaps I am not alone.

Escuchaba esto mientras caía mis lágrimas, estaba tan triste que no hacia mis tareas y me pasaba llorando en clases, no me importaba absolutamente nada, está canción y The 1975 fueron mis únicos apoyos, cuando más sentía que estaba perdida allá por 2019 sólo escuchaba "If i Believe You" y me calmaba bastante.
