My heart broke when I saw how thin the mama was after the c-section 💔🥺 I’m so glad you were able to do what you could to save her and the babies!!! I also completely respect you stepping back when you felt it was too much for you to handle!!! This little nugget and her babies are so lucky to have hit the jackpot and landed with you, Joey. Imagine if she hadn't been found when she was. Giving birth on her own out in a field somewhere. You did an amazing job recognizing that she was in distress and getting her to an ER vet asap. You absolutely saved her life and the lives of those 5 puppies. She and those pups are going to require constant, specialized care. Nobody could expect you to handle her whole situation on your own. I hope you're able to update us on their progress though.

Who in the mad world would just disown their dog for being pregnant and throw her out while in the first place they could have fixed the dog beforehand to prevent the pregnancy or just re home it? That’s really low and sad I’m happy your helping this mom have a comfortable chance!

This one really got me… when I saw how much pain she was in when she was in labor it broke my heart 😢. Joey you are such a saint for taking in these mamas… you really did save her and her babies ❤
