I really love Rue as a character. Of course she has taken some really bad decisions in her life mainly because of her addiction, but I could never hate her for that! She’s so sensitive and loves everyone around her, you can see her pain every time she hurts someone she loves. She also has that “I don’t give a f” attitude to anyone who tries to come for her and I just admire her for that. She doesn’t try to be cool, she’s just herself. I love Rue. And to be 100% honest part of that love comes from the fact that Z plays the role. No one could do it better than Zendaya. ❤️❤️

This show came at the time that my community is experiencing a crystal epidemic that is killing people we grew up with so it's really helpful right now ♥️

this just captures Rue in such a good way. Like she looks like she is enjoying herself even though she is on drugs like 90 percent of the damn time. This edit is honestly something I would rewatch on a regular just because it shines a new light on a character that isn't even supposed to have lights if that even makes sense.

Rue helped me a lot. Like, in real life, I really look like the same (physically : same hair, style, face...) has Rue and I havethe same cute, funny, understanding, listener, caring and little sad personnality. And when I discovered this serie, I was "in drugs" like her, I was beginning to do it. And, seeing a "me" but more tragic and sad and desesperate, that help me for saying to myself "omg, I look like that ? They see me like that ?" and ... I began to be a better me. So, yes this is it. Thanks for reading me. I really love this serie in a very special way.
