I attended The Commodores concert, in Dallas, Texas with my kid's father, his brother, and his friends: Eddie, Head, etc. Today, I dedicate this song to him. He is fighting to survive with stage four pancreatic cancer. And we are told by his wife, that he is too weak to speak to me and his children. They have not been able to talk and visit with him. I am praying for God to touch and heal this body. It's okay if he does not want to talk and allow his sons to visit with him. We understand, that God is Able to heal!

Life was so relaxed, romantic, and fun back then as a young teen. look at the mess it is today. At 57 now, all I can do is remember and try my best not to cry. Nothing will ever be like those years were. Commodores were just 1 of many treasures we all shared back then, and lately, YouTube has become a friend of sorts that lets me feel those moments again, literally.
