OTL This didn't help me, really.
What I want to do is record singing vocals, of decent quality. I am using the built-in mic on my (very small) laptop, since my external microphone broke after a few days of use. Even after noise removal in Audacity (repeated several times) and sending recordings off to a friend (who is very good at FL Studio) we still have not achieved good enough quality. Is there anything else I can do?

You know, my laptop is kinda loud and when i record, i barely cant hear myself, i just hear that buzzing sound from the laptop, is it possible to Prevent the sound coming from the laptop itself to record?
