The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is one of the best Zelda games in my eyes, so to celebrate the soon-to-be-released remake of Link's Awakening I figured to cover the Unused, Unseen, and Unfinished content found within the game's data.

The level 7 rooms you mentioned and the basement of the castle are accessible, but only by going into glitch world from level 1 by jumping into the top right corner of the holes during the moldorm fight, and jumping with the rocs feather as soon as link appears on screen in the platforming segment, or using other entrances. They are unused otherwise. The lion statue looks like a doge :/ I knew links awakening was ahead of its time, but this is a bit ridiculous j/k Its possible that the message "unfortunately, its empty" could refer to the space underneath the roosters statue that Marin tends to sing in front of. This may show that it was originally not intended to bring back the rooster, and that the rooster was around somewhere, and the space under the statue was an "empty grave" But this would imply the lack of use for a specific song, so they either cut the song or cut the message and add the rooster bones underneath the statue. Thanks for compiling a ton of differences between the builds that we know of into this video :) I haven't played this game in quite some time however, so these are just speculation.
