The Somerton Man's book wasn't the Bhagavad Gita, it was the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. I think you got him a bit mixed up with Oppenheimer.

The “club” that cracked the Zodiac Killer’s code are pure geniuses!! The way they cracked it was by using a misspelled word. The word in the cyphered code was properly spelled with an “i” and the code breaker used a “y” and then solved it! If you ever watch the movie with Robert Downey Jr. where he plays the reporter who is in estivating the Zodiac Killer, it was the guy he went to visit in SoCal. He died before he could be arrested.

The Pass story is still inconclusive. What ripped out the ladies tongue and what about the radiation they were exposed to?

Wasn't the Somerton man all but confirmed to be suicide? The "Tamam Shud" text was in his pocket because he was a fan of poetry (and 'it is finished' is a fitting phrase to carry into the end of your life), and the "undeciphered codes" were notes/math/whatever he had written out to help bet on horse races.

The disconnected feet must have been absolutely horrifying to stumble across

You really need a pause of some kind between subjects. Half the time it sounds like you're presenting more facts of the same topic, but you've moved on so quickly it was difficult to notice. :) Still, Thumbs up for the video!

My dad worked at an oil refinery less than a mile from where the first known Zodiac killings took place. He didn't know this until he got home of course, but he knew about it the following night when he was on top of one of the big oil tanks, perfectly silhouetted against the refinery lights. He laid down making himself as thin as possible and called for help on the radio. The police were called and it turned out it was the armed security guard for the industrial park adjacent to the refinery. I guess he had a rather intense conversation with police, with the cops wanting to know about his location the night before. He was cleared as a suspect though. The managers decided they didn't need that particular security guard and decided an armed guard wasn't even needed. I believe the security guard didn't know anything about the killing the night before.

Eyes tongue, etc are soft tissue, thus it's the fastest to go. The fact I or anyone has to explain this common sense to anyone just gets me so crossed

The Why Files does a really great job at breaking down the Dyatlov Pass incident

Also regarding the Dyatlov incident at least one of the guys who had a collapsed chest got it from climbing a tree to get a better look. Then slipped and fell through the branches landing chest first and then head first.

That simulation theory doesn't explain most other the other weird things like the placement of the bodies or injuries or the fact that they were wearing each other's clothes or the apparent responses of the hikers

Somerton beach man-DNA was from a plaster cast taken before he was buried. His wife was in Victoria-he left her. The book of poetry had the phone number of a 27 yr old nurse, who lived a 5 min walk from where body was found. When she saw the plaster cast-she nearly fainted. She told daughter-she knew who the man was, but couldn't talk about it. The daughter suspected her mother could speak Russian & may have been a spy. There was blood in the stomach and an enlarged spleen-a slow acting poison. No vomit in area of the body-shiny shoes + seen with 2 other men-killed elsewhere and taken to beach. The book that the scrap had been ripped out of and later tossed into the back of a car was a rare first edition [1859] of that work.

Also, the black spots you can see all over the picture are not shadows. They are spots where the picture data was lost. One of these spots is right where a nostril would be.

The Salish Sea incident was because of the triad that ran sweat shops in Vancouver Canada. If someone ran away the triad would catch them and cut their foot off. The saying at the time was "it takes two feet to run away only one to run a sewing machine".

I live in Mattoon, IL! Pretty cool that our little town made the infographic show. However it's pronounced MAT-toon, not MUH-toon. Just a pet peeve for those who live here 😂
