Shes so underrated, I think a lot labels/radio stations didn't know what category to try and box her into, so they then didn't know how to market her. She's a talented vocalist, writer and musician for sure. You can hear so many influences in her music. I loved the approach to the latest album it sounded like her live stuff.Badbadnotgood and lianne would be amazing. She was featured on a rudimental and an alt j song. More features would be great in any genre because of her voice

Wow, I'm so glad I found you. Enjoying the videos so far. I've been a fan of Lianna La Havas since her debut in 2012 where I became quite intrigued with the song "Age" where in a video she was walking with her guitar while singing, it might've been Paris as the backdrop. My fave off the album is 'Elusive' a song I still come back to cause its simply captivating and the video is very sensual. I watched her perform in the early years and she is truly mesmerizing. Like other people are stating here, she is not underrated with almost 1.6 million listeners on Spotify. To me she is like those special artists who's not for everyone like Esperanza Spalding, Nneka, Charlotte Day Wilson even Erykah Badu who is def not everyone's cup tea. Immensely talented and so gorgeous I think La Havas will be just fine.

Beautiful person, incredible musician, stunning voice. The first moments I saw her about 13 years ago on TV at a festival I recognized her as a talent, like the first seconds of watching Chris Thile play on NPR I saw the genius that he was.
Great video btw.
This might sound a little left field but I think a Lianne with a jazz guitarist like Kriesberg or Bill Frisell or even Julian Lage would be amazing especially as her own playing is so far in that direction. Like Ella and Joe pass, just for the modern era.

Man, this is SO spot on. Lianne has been, by far, one of my favorite artists since she first started sharing her live performances back in like 2014. I always felt a bit bad that I so vastly preferred her live sessions to her album recordings. Like you said, there's often just something really special lost in them, which is wild because she could record an entire album on a phone and it would probably still sound incredible. I feel the same way about Monica Martain (though her stuff from PHOX still sounds amazing) and Dijon. Like the studio recording of Big Mike's has NOTHING on that live filmed version. Lianne is just one of those artists who really needs that kind of Mahogany Session/Sofar Sounds production treatment and energy for the best studio recorded version of herself imo.

I've only recently discovered her in the last few months, but i think she sounds better live than in studio /album. I feel the mic mix on her vocals and guitar lacks a little punch.
I love her cover of Final Form, Iād not heard of Everything, Everything before so checked out their original version but preferred Leanneās. I also love Forget, Midnight, Same as Me, Au Cinema, Paper Thin and Seven Times.
