Almost certain that the first sword is a 1610-20 swept-hilt rapier in the German style, absolutely beautiful...
It likely won't be Dutch, as the swept hilt on Dutch rapiers would more often sweep down to the pommel, and the large, rounded pommel itself is pretty iconic for a German swept-hilt rapier.
Absolutely unbelievable find guys, well done.
Definitely take it to a museum asap, because if it is Dutch, it could be a very rare find.

Archaeology professor here - when you find something like that, you need to get it into the environment it came from ASAP. The bashing of clumps of rust is potentially very destructive to things you can't see, too. Taking better care of your finds will be rewarding.

Hi, Leigh. That was another memorable magnet fishing adventure. Everybody found sonething old.. keys, nails, knife blades, boat hooks, etc with Wim taking top spot with his sword.
