I have a almost 3 year old, and her mom left me because she wants her freedom to what she wants. I'm at a total loss, being alone without her. I'm really good at being a dad, and wouldn't trade it for the world, but it's so hard to be alone. I've tried my best to have her come back, but my friends tell me to let go (like your song "Be Alright").
I'm your age, and I'm struggling so hard to make it day by day. Some people may think that's soft, or whatever, but once they go through the same situation, (engaged, been together 5 years, have a toddler), then maybe they'll understand.

This song has it all. The squaring off, the telling off, that moment where you're being sweet but stating that the choice was theirs so they can kiss your @$$ and my favourite part,, the rhythmic clapping as a representation of the amount of times you've heard or been through their BS that it's now a familiar song and you know every word in their chorus. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for it.
