It would not shock me if the show does end this season and this was a hint to that. I tihink the last Ep ever well be a Christmas EP this show started with one on December 17, 1989 with Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire,
Ending with one would be them coming full circle plus if this season is full of more call backs I think it is another a good hint again that its over the Tree House EP well be telling, if it feels like an early seasons one,
What more is left to tell, there are 769 EP as of this writing that is a lot of ep for syndication.

Writing the script for the last episode of The Simpsons is a tall order, considering the show's long history and cultural impact. It would need to be a blend of heartfelt moments, callbacks to iconic moments, and humor that stays true to the show's spirit. Here’s a rough outline of how a final episode might play out, followed by a sample script for a key scene:
The Simpsons: "Springfield Forever" (Final Episode)
Episode Outline:
Opening: The episode begins with a regular day in Springfield. The Simpson family is sitting at the breakfast table, discussing their usual quirks. Homer is annoyed about work, Marge is concerned about a community event, Bart is planning his next prank, and Lisa is focused on a new intellectual pursuit.
Conflict: During a town meeting, Mayor Quimby announces that the government has declared Springfield a "disaster zone" due to years of various incidents (nuclear meltdowns, alien invasions, etc.). As a result, the town might be evacuated permanently. The citizens panic, and a scramble begins to save the town.
Resolution: Through a series of comedic attempts to save Springfield, the entire town comes together. The episode features callbacks to classic moments: Mr. Burns attempts to buy the town, Lisa gives a heartfelt speech about the meaning of home, and Bart stages a final prank that hilariously saves the day.
Ending: In the end, Springfield is saved by the citizens' quirky, collective efforts. The final scene shows the Simpson family looking out over the town as the sun sets. The family exchanges meaningful words about the importance of home and family, with Homer delivering a classic Homer line to lighten the mood.
Sample Script for the Final Scene:
INT. SIMPSONS LIVING ROOM – EVENING
The Simpson family is sitting on the couch together. The sun is setting outside, casting a warm glow through the windows.
MARGE
(smiling)
Well, it looks like we saved Springfield... again.
BART
(grinning)
Yeah, and I didn’t even get grounded for that stink bomb I set off in the mayor's office.
LISA
(laughing)
Bart, even in the end, you're still causing trouble.
HOMER
(looking at his family, unusually thoughtful)
You know, I complain about this town, but it’s home. No matter what goes wrong, or how many times I screw up, we always manage to make it through... together.
MARGE
(holding Homer’s hand)
That’s because we’re a family, Homie.
Bart and Lisa exchange glances, half embarrassed, but smile.
LISA
(softly)
Maybe it's not perfect, but Springfield is special because of the people in it. Every moment here has made us who we are.
BART
(breaking the sentimentality)
Yeah, and plus, where else could you get away with half the stuff we do?
Everyone laughs.
MAGGIE
(sucks pacifier, with a quiet giggle)
HOMER
(suddenly emotional, wiping away a tear)
Aw, look at me, I'm getting all choked up. Must be that Duff I drank earlier.
MARGE
(teasing)
You mean all 12 of them?
HOMER
(grins)
Yeah, that too.
The camera zooms out as they sit together, looking content. The iconic saxophone music softly begins in the background as the screen fades to black.
CREDITS:
After the credits roll, the last frame features the classic chalkboard gag, with Bart writing one last line:
BART (VOICEOVER)
"Smell ya later, Springfield!"
The chalkboard fades, and the classic theme song plays one last time.
This script concept aims to tie together the nostalgia, humor, and heart that have defined The Simpsons for decades while giving a sense of closure to the beloved characters and the town of Springfield.

It’s scary to think that the people who watched the show in the 90s are now the same age as Homer and Marge.(Thanks for all the likes.”
