You are such a talented artist. You inspire kids like me all around the world. One day, I'm going to make beautiful music like yours.

I was first truly inspired to pursue music after hearing your first acoustic album. A year and a half later music has become the biggest part of my life and I just received a scholarship to help me to pursue a career in music. Your music often gave me the drive I needed to push through and troubles I faced. And before the year ends you release this song and remind me how much your music means to me and how much you inspire me, so thank you so much. I wouldn't be this passionate and driven if I hadn't found your art a year and a half ago.

This is a masterpiece, Yvette. Not just in a technical sense. It's pure joy to listen to. Thank you

part of me wants to say only "wow" in response to this because how amazed i am is difficult to put into words... but express is different... this makes me want to both cry and scream out loud... i rarely find music that makes me physically feel different from how i was previously but so much of what you write does that to me... THIS is why you are my musician goals. THIS is why you inspire me. it's not because of your insane talent at performing or writing (both of which are evident and well known) not because of your commitment to it all... but because your music never fails to just make me feel...always, ALWAYS breathtaking!

This song perfectly encapsulates life right now in April 2020. Melancholy undertones and intermittent strife, consistently overcome by hope and determination.

This is an example of why I wish I could have started learning how to play music when I was younger...I couldn't afford anything as a kid, and taught myself to read tabs & sheet music, some music theory and how to play guitar a bit at age 22, but I missed that age where it really develops well and just don't have the drive now like I did in other things when I was younger, where I could have probably just played guitar all day instead of whatever else I did 25 years ago. That was like 13 years ago when I was 22, I still play now, but feel like starting so late has limitations that are nearly impossible to overcome, as compared with people who never learn a second language when they are younger, have significant difficulty. I have been listening to Yvette Young and her band Covet for about 4-5 years, and I am at least happy I have the music of my dreams made reality to listen to...

You've just made neoclassical math-rock. That is amazing! I'd really love to see this kind of music in mainstream.
