I’m not even from Los Angeles, I’m from London, yet I still keep coming back to this criminally underrated song every year. Honestly it should be up there with the likes of fairytale of New York.
The video is so imperfectly perfect, and I’m not sure Emily knows how good her voice is as she certainly doesn’t show it, with her down to earth, relaxed, cool personality showing while she’s laying down some gritty angelic vocals. The whole band’s great vibe shines in this video, almost bringing a tear to my eye
