Met Sammy three times, and the best time was my last time at The Book Revue, with my daughters and it was so important for him to chat with them too, as he too has two daughters. Just so humble and down to earth.

Sammy. Youāve had a major impact on my life. I went to a show in Evansville, Indiana last minute and just me. It was your VOA tour with Krokus and Twisted Sister. The show was great. But I had nothing to do afterwards and wanted to avoid the traffic so I just hung out in the arena after the encores and was watching the crew tear down the set. Then you came out, (wearing jeans) along with your band. There were maybe 30-40 people like me that just stuck around. You yelled āwhat do you guys want to hear?ā And you played Rock And Roll, Rock Candy, Bad Motor Scooter and a few other songs. No stage lighting or anything, just a band jamming for the fans.
That had a profound impact on me. You could have been back stage partying or chilling on your bus, but you came out and made many of your fans very happy. Thatās something that stuck with me. You gave me a perspective of what my work ethic was going to be for the rest of my life. I work when I donāt have to. I go the extra mile for my customers always. I wish that I could tell you this in person and I donāt know if you will even read this but, thank you.

I often wondered about that title myself. It's nice to see Sammy taking the time to talk & sign autographs for a special fan. Some people don't realize or care they are who got you where you are today. Sammy seems like a very down to earth person giving his time & money to those in need. Iāve been a āRedHeadā since 8th grade in 1982. āSuckers walkā¦money talksā¦but it canāt touch my 3 lock boxā In the video he had that solid red strat, no pickguard and a single humbucker in the bridge position. I was like āwhoa! Who the hell is this dude?ā Iāve always said that Sammy is the hardest-working artist in the Industry and heās been relevant for 5 going on 6 decades. What a freakinā career!
