I am a mental health therapist, and found your video just brilliant! The vagus nerve affects people more than we are made aware, and a person has options for stimulating the vagus nerve, for improved well-being.
This is knowledge every provider should know, and educate clients on.
THANK YOU- new subscriber with my utmost gratitude and respect. I found the (visual) answer I was looking for. ❤

For 9 months and a dozen medical specialist, no doctor could determine my health issue since February 2022. They say its GERD but don't know the cause. I have sudden attacks of tightness in the chest where i can't breath, numbness in the arms and legs, cold chills and clammy hands...i first heard about the vagus nerve 3 months ago and what it does. When i asked a few doctors I'd they had considered checking it, they laughed at me...i did my own research and found methods to heal or stimulate you VN. My attacks are less frequent and i feel 80%better. I can digest food better now than i have been able to. Thank you for this video!

Thank you Sam, my first time here. I had surgery to fuse vertebras 3-7 May (2021) which resulted in spinal cord injury. I was paralyzed coming out of the recovery room. With intense PT and OT I am recovering well, walking etc. It effected every system in my body, all in various stages of recovery. What has effected my quality of life is nausea. I have thought the vagus nerve had something to do with these symptoms especially the constant nausea.
You video is very insightful. You are a pleasant and effective
instructor.
BTW, I started deep breathing recently and am feeling better…vagus nerve exercise 👍🏽 may be why.

I love the way you explain things, your videos have been enormously helpful to me so thanks a lot :)
Could you kindly make a video about brainstem nuclei, tracts, etc. I'm really struggling to learn them and I would be really really grateful if you covered this topic in one of your future videos.

As someone who is not a a doctor or going to be one, these videos are amazing. How you are able to explain everything so even a "normal" person can understand it is beyond appreciated.
