I was no older than 11 when this movie came out. I use to love skating and this movie provided motivation everyday. By the time I was 16 I was actually pretty damn good. Shortly after my friends and I stopped all together before we finished high school. Now I’m 28 and just got fresh deck the other day. Went to the local skatepark and still have some of the touch. I feel like I’m starting to fall in love again. That’s why I watched this movie just now, it brought back so many memories. What’s cool is a lot of my friends are starting to get back into it. I don’t think we will ever be as good as we were in our teens, but it’s fun to get out and skate. Sidewalk surfing will always be a part of me and my friends.

Still one of my favorite movies of all time, one of those movies that makes you wanna get off ur ass and be what you wanna be in life, they dont make these motivational movies with good music anymore sadly. Mike Vogel does good in these types of roles, he was good in supercross too. Wish these types of movies were more popular so we could get more.
