I love how he kept getting better with age right up to the end. He never stopped getting better and never gave up or gave in.

In 1988 I was doing a public access show in Los Angeles...The Late Mr Pete Show. One night after a show, George Carlin called me at home and told me he didn't know what the F I was doing, but not to stop...George invited me to his home for Christmas dinner, and to Vegas to see him doing his act. 3 yrs later I had my own show on KTLA 5 in L.A. and won an emmy for best host. He saw something in me, and showed me nothing but kindness... Truly a nice, decent man...

I'd just say George was simply telling the truth of the world and people. He did it in comic way, but it was and it still is, all truth. Only a lot of people don't have the guts to say it out loud and with class as he did. For that he will always be remembered and loved. Thank you George for speaking for all of us.

He’s the GOAT. Undeniable. Irrefutable. The greatest of all time. I’m never one to sit here and miss dead people I didn’t personally know. But Man I truly miss his presence in the world.

The man had to have one of the most incredible memories of any comic. I saw him do an hour plus without taking a break at three different concerts.
