This is probably my favorite performance video I've made so far—I tried to be as creative as I could with it, and I even included some nature photography I've done that will probably end up as future album covers. With this video, I took a different approach than with some of my other music videos: it's much more focused on imagery and atmosphere, not just on the notes I'm playing.

"Goldenrod" is the centerpiece of my recent album Fantasies For Sunset. With it, I tried to capture a perfect feeling of whimsical melancholy. It is a depiction of goldenrod flowers blowing in the breeze, bathed in warm evening light. Like looking at your life through a sepia filter——sad, but vivid and delicately beautiful.
