Considering "leaks" are sometimes intended marketing strategies,
this might be Bungie indirectly telling us that there's something for Destiny after the Final Shape and the previously announced episodes,
without pissing off Sony or having to use money and resources to do a marketing/hype campaign.
Of course it might be just another leak, but since Bungie is at a tight spot right now, could be intentional as well.

I just hope they’ve been playing A LOT of Mass Effect. The exploration, the side character world-building, extra wave based multiplayer modes, the travel to other systems, the ability to play as all of the other enemy races, the modular weapon attachment upgrades, the cinematic presentation... there are so many aspects that would have benefit Destiny 2.
