Places like DollsKill are never gonna get cancelled purely on the fact people only care about wearing the "it" thing at any given time. It's the same issue with all fast fashion brands.
The vast majority of people have never made an item of clothing from scratch and don't understand that labour costs need to be included with smaller designers.
One of the examples shown was House Of Aris, who I've bought from before and their work is incredible.
The price point is completely understandable when you look at the craftsmanship of the pieces, and then take into account fabric costs, energy bills to run sewing machines, price to pay workers who help them make the pieces, etc etc but unfortunately the vast majority of people can't grasp this idea and just see "Oh, but this shop is selling it for cheaper so I'll buy from them." thus keeping these trash fast fashion brands relevant.

I'm a baby bat... I'm slowly maturing but (I found out at age 12 I was allowed to dress as a very watered down goth, and within a good budget since this is when I was really poor) I came across their site and I almost bought from them. I'm so glad i didn't buy from them after all and learned to crochet to make my own clothes and buy from trusted site.

people are always like "waaaah I have to buy from dolls kill, it's the ONLY place with affordable alternative fashion!!!" meanwhile dolls kill is selling a little crochet bralet for €50. if you have €50 for dolls kill, you have €50 to pay someone on etsy to make you something similar. you don't have an excuse, if you buy from dolls kill and know what they've done, I don't trust you.

This is why I buy from small business artists on Etsy and support them. I'm a cosplayer, and a lot of the pieces and props I need for cosplays, I buy off of Etsy because not only the artists do such an amazing job at making them, but I like to support them also. My Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai Jacket was the last custom piece I bought from from a small business artist, and when I cosplay as Female V, people ask me about where I got the jacket from, I point them out about the artist who made it and refer those people to them, giving the artist more business. I can't stand when these big corporate companies steal from those who are fighting to put food on the table, and are trying to pay to have a roof over their head. Plus a lot of times, when these corporate companies make them, its such shitty quality which is a huge slap in the face to the artist. >_>

i'm a crochet artist and seller; if you buy crochet items, PLEASE buy from small creators wherever you can. many people don't realize this (although a lot more people are learning now which is great) but it is impossible for crochet to be done by machine, so every crochet item is completely handmade. when they're being sold cheaply by big companies, they're likely always done by underpaid sweatshop workers. that's not to mention the art theft, it sucks so badly when people put all that work into perfecting a crochet pattern and a company just blatantly steals it. it's really important that people who want crochet stuff just seek it out the ethical way from independent artists.
