My best friend Mark passed away in 1995 of AIDS. He was so ashamed... He felt so alone and he gave up and it consumed him quickly. Had it been different back then,

I will meet this amazing woman before I die. She is far more than just her voice as a singer. I just pray she does a tour in Virginia, or even just stop at a coffee shop, and let's me know she's in the area of Richmond. I dont care about her Eurythmics work or any of that. Her voice for those who suffer more is what I hear. I just want to shake her hand and give her a big hug of thanks for speaking out for us who deal with this on a daily basis, silent, and undignified according to most.

Anie, you are a beautifull person, inside and out. Thank you for using your amazing talent to help others. I dont have HIV nor do anyone (that I know of) in my family. We have cancer instead and both my sons have autism so I know a little of sigma, though in a different way or a differnt source at least. Love to you Annie xxx

I am not HIV but I have this t-shirt and wear it with pride. We have to get rid of the stigma once and for all and I hope that by showing my support and wearing it, I can do my bit.
I am very surprised that no one has said anything to me about it yet. I get looks and have had 2 people give me a wide berth when walking past them, but nothing else....I am ready though.
