My son was born on April 16th. I've been living a "Half Moon" life since he was born. I became a fan in 2015..saw you guys at the Ogden Theater in Denver. Your music has hit me in different ways at different times. I always tell people that you know music is special when it takes you somewhere. I remember the first times I felt high in my life...it was through music. Listening to ANIMALS, and WISH YOU WERE HERE by PF. I was 15. I didn't know why I was so enthralled with music until later on in life..it took me to that place that only music can take you. A special spot in your soul that you feel lucky and privileged if you're allowed to glimpse it.. Your music does that for me. I have introduced HMR to my wife as well, and it has become the running soundtrack to our lives.This song hits me unlike many songs ever have. I'm a teacher and a wannabe songwriter. This is a song that I wish like hell I could have written. I'm glad you guys are the ones who did. Can't thank you enough for the joy, hope, and therapy that you've brought to me and my family.

Many years ago now, a friend of mine told me about her epiphany moment. Her most excellent day, and how she kept comparing that most excellent day to the ordinary days. How it kept her in this loop of discontent, wishing to replicate that great day over and over again. It took her some time to realize something quite monumental. That she had to LET GO of that great day... Just as she had to let go of every bad day in her experience as well. The song really reminded me of this lesson. And the ambivalence we can have about moving forward. I have had this on loop all day with both sadness and appreciation. As always, thank you for this and sharing your gifts. It's been so wonderful to witness you all evolve as artists. Congratulations on your new EP and the incredible work you have put in to share it with us. 🙏
