John Connolly has been on the Canton, MA Select Board since ~1989-present. The Select Board is essentially the boss of Canton PD. He supported Chris Albert in his run for Select Board in the spring of 2023 (1 year after Officer O'Keefe was killed at Chris's brother's house, 34 Fairview). Connolly was Select Board member during the summer of 2007 when the Chris Albert/Office Lank incident happened. So Connolly knew and was part of approving the $200k+ payout to Lopalito due to Chris Albert & Lank. Lank received 2 promotions after this, which would have been approved in part by Connolly.
