When our son with autism was attacked by a kid at school, the admin tried to cover for the kid because he was a football player. They tried to have my husband FIRED from his job for questioning their narrative. The kid tweeted that he only got one day of in school suspension for socking a white kid in the face to his friends. We sued the school district and police dept for their actions and pulled all of our kids out of the school system. From their mouths to our earsâŚâWe arenât required to protect your kidsâ Pull your kids from public schools.they donât care about them or their safety and school boards think that laws do not apply to them. Things sure have deteriorated since I retired in 2014 as an Assistant Principal with LAUSD. We had many meetings and trainings each year on these kinds of issues. First and foremost, it was the Principalâs job to inform parents after informing the district. The district sent out support personnel to help interface with parents who, often times, arrived at the school to pick up their kids. I canât imagine not informing the parents as soon as we could. This is frightening what is being done to the nuclear family. Public schools need to be shut down. Pull your kids out of public schools.
