Dave Gahan died for a few minutes when overdosing - he was brought back to life and then became sober. So he knows what he is talking about, and has come back to us to tell us how precious life is.

Martin will always be my McDreamy, but Dave has my heart. Always open, real and vulnerable, he's is the conduit of the music with the listener, an interpreter or catalyst of the art. I would not go as far as to say it's the best interview, but it is one of them. As someone said below - thanks to the intelligent interviewer/questions. Too many interviewers ask the wrong questions, stupid questions, predictable questions that bore the hell out of DM.

Loved the interview! Dave is such a nice guy who crawled really deep in life but rose up and fighted the hard way. DM is one of the most important bands for me. Looking forward to the album Memento Mori and the tour. If they can come to Portugal in 2024, I will do (almost) anything for a ticket. 😁
