In interviews I’ve heard Bryan Ferry speak of how important it is for him to have the music and lyrics compliment each other artistically (to paraphrase him), and I have to say that this album does so to a perfect extent. It is sublime.

The rest of us can only wonder what it would be like to touch so many souls so profoundly. Makes one's life & accomplishments seem somewhat insignificant by comparison. I think I'll seek solace in more of Bryan's music and a glass of Gin & Tonic. Cheers & goodnight.

They just performed a beautiful live Girls and Boys at the Groningen concert May 20 2019. Mr. Ferry at the keyboard. It was sublime. Someone has posted it. The moody, ethereal songs allow his artistry to come through. That's what I would want to see if I was lucky enough to be in Europe now!
