Thank you so much!! I was at this unforgettable concert and I remember every moment and the incredible involvment of the people! Even too much because suddenly we started crying because of the gas entered in the theater from outside, because the police was trying to stop people who couldn't buy a ticket who was launching rocks! You can even hear the shots when she was playing "For Free" and her apologies, with great professionalism, excusing herself because it was impossible to find a bigger hall! 7000 were present. The concert was magnificent and on jony website it is possible to find some photos about it: https://jonimitchell.com/chronology/detail.cfm?id=1550 It was part of the 1983 Refuge World Tour started on 20.02 in Hollywood and ended on 30.07 in Colorado https://jonimitchell.com/chronology/tour.cfm?id=7 In Italy, before Milano, Joni played in Verona and Genova.
Having only the audio does some relief to see on Youtube the video recording of the concert in Wembley, just 2 week before! Just the dress was different, the players were the same: Michael Landau (g), Russell Ferrante (kbds), Larry Klein (her husband) (b), Vinnie Colaiuta (d) and the songs and the arrangements were very similar! Non potevo crederci quando Γ¨ apparso questo risultato di una ricerca che faccio da anni! Un regalo meraviglioso poter riascoltare Joni Mitchell, la musica e i suoni di quella serata! Ero certo che qualcuno avesse registrato questo concerto, per me indimenticabile; un'emozione grandissima riascoltarlo! Grazie mille, non potrΓ² fare altro che seguirvi sperando di riascoltare altre perle rare, come questa che ci avete regalato.
