WI v. DAHMER (1992): Tracy Edwards, who escaped from Jeffrey Dahmer, takes the stand.

A new Netflix documentary "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" explores the gruesome story of Jeffrey Dahmer. Court TV cameras were inside the Wisconsin courtroom in 1992, where a jury was tasked to decide whether Dahmer, who pleaded guilty to the murders and dismemberment of 15 boys and men, should be sentenced to life in prison or admitted to a mental institution.

You can see in his eyes that he's traumatized. I feel so sorry for him. He deserved so much better.

the police officers who allowed the 14-year-old boy to go back to dahmer should be arrested.

Imagine escaping from someone who attempted to murder you, then later finding out that said individual had killed, dismembered, and even ate many men, then having to be in his presence again knowing what he planned to do to you. This man is brave beyond words, and a true hero. Whether he planned to be a hero or not, the amount of lifeā€™s he saved is staggering. Itā€™s sad to see the path heā€™s went down later in life, I can only hope heā€™s doing well now.

He looks visibly traumatized, but he's speaking so articulate and calmly. Recalling this horror. This took an immense amount of strength. Bless this man, Dear Lord šŸ™

Tracys demeanor shows an intelligent man who exhibits telling signs of PTSD. The fact that he turned to drugs, became homeless, turned to crime whereas he was not like this before he had to fight Dahmer off. The attorneys & Netflix could do something to help this man. He's a hero who saved many people from future horrors.

Shame on the state for not giving this man the help he needed, therapy and resources to get grounded and to heal. My heart goes out to him.

He made an excellent witness. Heā€™s calm, specific and articulate. You can feel his trauma. The state of Wisconsin should have taken care of him in every way. Housing, funding, psychological treatmentā€¦EVERYTHING! They failed him terribly. It saddens me that he struggled afterward. I hope he found his way. ā¤

I donā€™t think we can comprehend how difficult it is to testify such horrific details with your assailant right in front of you. Crazy

This poor man. You can see the pain and trauma in his eyes. The way he speaks. The way his lips quiver in fear of the memories. I want to hug this man. He deserves peace.

The luckiest man alive. Somehow escaped the monster Dahmer. Incredible how accurate the Netflix series is on the serial killer

We teach our children never talk to strangers. As adults, we should never accept an invitation from a total stranger. The world is full of crazy people.
