For those who dont feel like googling up what happened in the year 536.
Basically it was the year that nearly ended humanity. Volcanoes errupted causing crops and irrigation to fail and starvation began and a lot of people lost their lives. The earth temp also dropped by 2.5°C or 36.5°F. Unfortunately this would continue for up to a year. It even snowed in china in the summer that year
