This video is a language nerd’s dream, why? Because of all the languages intertwining and I love it! As someone learning French, it was wonderful to hear both you and your mom speak. The speed at which you both spoke French, gives me something to aspire to. It is really interesting that you speak Cantonese with your Dad, French with your Mom and everyone speaks English! I enjoyed hearing your dad speak Cantonese as well. It’s also very nice to see how close you are with your parents and how communication is so very important within a family and is sometimes the key to solving problems. Continued joy and success to you and family.

Wow. I love how you spoke in whatever language they were most comfortable with. French, English, or Cantonese!

1. I LOVE your relationship with your parents and how open you all are. I don't have a relationship with my mother and just rekindled my relationship with my father a few years ago after he left when I was a child (I'm currently in my late 20's). 2. I also live alone and currently have a lot of hard things that I'm going through. I find it easy to become anxious about the unknown. But in these moments I embrace how I feel and remind myself that I continue to come through things that once made me very anxious. 3. I love your videos, your openness, your cooking and that you push yourself to step out of your comfort zone! I'm trying to do that more myself and your videos help encourage me to keep doing so. Keep taking next steps, you're doing great! 😊

I actually don't deal with stress, I've come up with a habits to make sure I stay ahead of potentially stressful situations. My biggest source of stress is school so I make sure I study ahead and plan out my deadlines.

It’s so nice to see your parents visited you! I also love to talk to my parents. Being open and talking to your parents helps you get another perspective to your problem and it’s always interesting to hear about their journey, because it’s so different from ours. Your parents are so wise, I like what your dad said at the end of this video. Failure is not something to be scared of. Thanks for sharing the conversations you had with them

This was so comforting to watch and I especially loved listening to you and your parents talk to each other in different languages. My parents immigrated from Hong Kong to Canada as well and it was very nice to see someone with a similar story!

J'aime beaucoup cette vidéo, le fait de parler plusieurs langues en même temps est juste incroyable. Est ce que tu penses un jour faire un podcast avec tes parents ça pourrait être très intéressant d'entendre leurs idées et plus.

I really appreciated this video. As someone who doesn't have the best relationship with their parents and struggles to open about emotions with them, it was really interesting to see a parent's perspective on the topic and how they see things. This video was so honest and real and I love how it was brought up and presented so casually. I felt like I really needed this. Thank you Jeffrey.
