Decorating the tree with my sons is one of my all-time favourite things ever. They are 21 and 17 now, and I struggle to do it myself due to chronic illness. But because they are amazing people, they still halt their lives and decorate it for me while I 'deligate' π xx

It's gorgeous when they start to join in the family traditions like tree decorating, advent calendars etc. Mine is 9 now but she started tree decorating at 2 as well, very insistent on it πβ€ She spoke quite early so was pretty vocal about how she wanted the tree to look from a young age (nothing has changed π) Enjoy every moment!

You describing Jamie as a male figure in Rupert's life was very touching to me. I don't think I ever even thought about a trans man hearing that phrase (male rolemodel or figure or influence in a child's life) and it feels very freeing that I can now. You are all adorable and seem like you have a wonderful community. I wish you a great beginning of Christmas time!
