This album is so good, really grows on you. First time I heard it I wasn't that impressed, didn't immediately jump out like Melted or Lemons, but now it's becoming one of my favorite albums by Ty. My favorite things are usually those that take awhile to get into.

In the summer of 2014 I drove up to Santa Cruz from San Diego in a 2001 Honda accord. I always blew the shitty lil speakers out on My Head Explodes on the way up. I lived in a tent for the summer. Spent my meager savings on PBR's and Olympias to drink with the boys, jumped in the cold ocean, grinned and listened to Ty Segall. I was 23 years old.

I just love absolutely everything Ty Segall does,he's a modern day(under-rated) genius.This album is almost on a par with the brilliant 2010 album Melted.
