I love the theme of March and April being a time of change. That is a really important part of life and learning to be okay with change and the changes of the seasons you were in is such a valuable lesson of life to lean into and find peace with. I loved the quaint little cabin you found to stay at! So rustic and full of nature. And oh my gosh that okonomiyaki is divine! I have always had hamsters and guinea pigs. I worked for a veterinarian who specializes in these. You are right. They have a short life. But we can make it as loving as possible while they are here. Russian dwarf and teddy bear are my favorite breeds.
