Buffy Sainte-Marie is a Cree singer-songwriter noted as a trailblazer and tireless advocate, an innovative artist, and a disruptor of the status quo. She is also an Oscar-winning composer, visual artist, educator, and pacifist who focuses on issues facing Indigenous peoples of the Americas.

Moderator Neal Copperman launched the AMP House Concert series soon after moving to Albuquerque in 2000. He has steered AMP from house concerts and a hobby to a sole proprietorship and eventually a non-profit organization that in a normal year presents over 200 events a year around the state. Neal's goal has always been to see the music he loved in other parts of the country be available in Albuquerque. Neal works full time as the Executive Director of AMP, and in his spare time works on AMP :) He is also on the board of the New Mexico Presenters Alliance, organizes the entertainment for the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market, helped organize and run ¡Globalquerque! from its inception until 2019, and is active in many civic and arts projects around the city.
