This flipbook might not survive. Willow Glass is paper-thin and flexible, but very fragile.

Did I just got a life lesson, a touching metaphor, some chaotic art and a classic Andy flipbook in just one video? Amaizing!

I stumbled upon this by accident. It was suggested on my home page and I thought it looked interesting. But ā€¦ I got so much more than I expected. This was deeply heartwarming, encouraging and inspiring. I didnā€™t expect to hear this very unique analogy on resilience- but I definitely needed it. Iā€™m glad I came across it today. Thank you, Andy.

I loved how he put the inflatable on bed than blow it up with air and showed it having enthusiasm for life again. That was the best part. Absolutely loved it. It carries the message so well.

You're not just an animator, you're an amazing storyteller! I've always loved the carefree but grounded nature of a balloon man, but never seen the angle you put out, of his resilience from constantly getting filled up by the things that make him who he is. ā˜ŗļø

I love that in that final flip of breaking glass, the pose that stands out is so dramatic -- like the slide was saying "TADA! Look at this magnificent, fragile work of art!"

The bending and breaking in the process is actually magically beautiful

I was really inspired by your son, seeing the flipbook from the opposite angle as you, and seeing this yellow trail that was happening and questioning whether your whole intention could be flipped upside down and flipped the flipbook backwards to enjoy that even more than front. I think to be really creative. We have to stop assuming that our intentions when creating art or even correct. Things have to be able to change, and we have to be able to find things from a new perspective and value that potentially more than what we thought we were setting out to do.,

I happened to see this on the trailing end of a panic attack, and it's so meaningful.. especially when what helped me out of it was the 'filling force' of my girlfriend being there for me and loving me so much. thank you.

The slo-mo breaking was really kool to see! Thanks for putting in the effort. Its also really special to see how your boys are just as excited to see the outcome, GREAT WORK! šŸ‘

This is so inspiring. You took a concept like a balloon man and used it to show how it is so resilient and always Comes back and is also fragile like glass. This video is easily my favorite. Thank you.

Iā€™m really impressed about how you still went ahead with this even though you knew there was a chance the glass would break and all your hard work wouldnā€™t give the desired result. Maybe thereā€™s a lesson in here for artists to take risks even if it may not work out the way you want. Definitely something I struggle with.

Andy, I was deeply moved by the emotional vulnerability you poured into this piece. It felt like your dedication to your artistic craft gave you a safe space to explore difficult feelings. It seemed like the love you share with your family allowed you to prioritiez your shared experience with them (and us) with out getting too precious with the thing you had spent countless hours crafting. instead you allowed us to feel joy, anguish, excitement, connection, loss, and hope all simultaneously. Thank you for crafting such a beautiful story. You inspire me

showed this video to my therapist and he started crying, said he'd never felt so seen and understood before in all seriousness tho this was such a cool concept, I don't know much about art but I feel like the fact that this piece would inevitably break apart while being viewed really adds to the meaning of it

While flipping the glass pages and hearing ā€œdo it again, Dad. Keep going!ā€ Thereā€™s your constant force. I hadnā€™t seen you prior to this video coming up on my homepage, and Iā€™m so glad it did. Amazing.
