Zac…..I love this.
I don’t exactly know why I love this; but I had an immediate physical reaction of security when it started. The first thing I noticed was the static—that glorious fuzziness. It is perfect. The deep tones are properly sparsed and not overly loud; they provide the ground support well due to the lack of repetitive melody, especially the slides. The airy breaths and gentle piano are near angelic.
I just want to lay here with my eyes closed and imagine every sound as a character, all dancing with each other like some Fantasia movie skit. This soundscape isn’t a choir harmonizing together; this is a conversation between mythological deities trying to create their world.
And that is what will follow me into slumber tonight. What a wonderful vision. 😊
