This is mine & my late husbandās song to a tee! I met him in 1969 at a Christmas party when this song came out! He was gorgeous and knew it. I won in the end tho! We got married in June 1970! I just lost him in 2020 after 50 years together! He was my baby and now heās my angel. I canāt wait to be with him again one day!

I knew Gayle. Believe it or not, she ended up being a sales person at a Circuit City in the St. Louis area. She would rarely talk about her music career unless asked. She was incredibly nice and humble. I remember I found a copy of the album on cassette and started playing it in the audio department - she was so incredibly proud. I only recently found out she passed away about 7 years ago.
