My bullion dealer, Tim Marschner of the Coin and Stamp Shop, warns of “doom and gloom for everyone" when our currency fails! In this video I discuss the impact of Federal Reserve Governor Chris Waller's speech at The Brookings Institution on January 16th. The stock market dropped hard when he warned that the Fed may not be able to cut interest rates as fast and as often as expected. Gold and silver spot price dropped as well. It's as if the markets are addicted to Fed stimulus. Economic fundamentals, like supply and demand, bad manufacturing data, and what's happening in our real economy, doesn't really matter anymore! It doesn't matter to the stock market, the bond market, or to the traders in gold and silver. Markets are screaming, "When are we getting our rate cuts?!" Tim explains how things have changed with the growth of corporate stimulus, Wall Street stimulus (QE), and Main Street stimulus, and the dangerous drop in productivity that has damaged our economy and caused people not do "do their job." This desire for more fiscal and monetary stimulus may partially explain the drop in gold and silver spot price last week. I'm stacking silver and gold because of the REAL economy! We gold and silver stackers see through this insanity and know it's unsustainable. At some point tangible assets will matter most, so keep stacking precious metals!
