This mix is very "quiet" for grunge and pop, almost like a bedroom practice session. At first I was thrown off, but then I realized this mix really pulls the vocals out and into the fore. That, plus her detuned guitar played clean just makes it feel so intimate. It feels like we're right there in the practice session, singing right to us, showing their newest songs.
