Theres a weird thing that happens today in media e.t.c of the āunderdogā story. Society thinks using your connections to get your art or yourself out there is a bad thing. Industry plant or not if what your presenting, wether your music, photography e.t.c, isnt good or atleast different then no one will care. The hate for people like clairo and billie elish comes from jealousy. I do believe them being female and having a female audience makes more trolls attack them aswell.
