I'd like to think that the "Whispering Pines" studio name is possibly a reference to the song by The Band, because that would be awesome, also somewhat thematically relevant to the songs on Vide Noir. "Standing by the well / wishing for the rains /Reaching to the clouds / for nothing else remains."
