saw a snippet of this on instagram and came here to watch the full video. I love that you let him speak mostly and didn't talk over him. excellent, informative video. I learned a lot. he's a cool dude. you don't hear a lot of people online or doctors especially talking the way that he does about surgery. it's very refreshing!

This was so good! I agree with EVERYTHING in this. Truly the responsibility lies within the hands of the doctors and them deciding who is actually fit to be operated on.. in all aspects. They have a moral and ethic responsibility to their patients. And then the responsibility of us to not lie to each other about what we’ve had/not had done AND to do the proper research for the greatest possible outcome. Love it! Thank you for sharing this!

Also as a photographer/video maker, lens distortion and angles makes a big difference to how people look in photos. I'm also in front of camera everyday and honestly you have to say to yourself, f it, carry on, there is no point getting upset about how I look, try to be in a good mood or not tired seems to make the biggest difference to how I perceive myself. I can work on my overall fitness (I test bikes for work) and manage that out come but apart from that there is no point in getting upset about every angle and how I look. It takes really a lot of work to have every angle ideal. In the grand scheme of things that time is poorly spent and will change nothing, apart from irritating yourself.
Also I keep telling people to stop making their lives about photos and how they look in them. Unless you are getting paid proper money for your photos, don't worry about it just chill, its ok. Im in pictures only because I ride the bike or talk about it. I certainly don't get paid for me in the picture, it's about the bike.

Wow, I actually really like this Doc. You can tell he genuinely looks out for his patients. As well as wants to raise awareness of how unreal some of our beauty standard have become.
